The Wedding Planning Cycle
by Tammy Waterman on 05-25-2012 07:31AM
Phase One: ENGAGED! You buy every magazine out there, you are on PINTEREST pinning everything in sight or up all night reading every wedding blog for inspirations and DIY projects and become overwhelmed with the prospect of all the colors, ideas, and many choices.
Phase Two: The planning process starts. It’s fun! Your friends and family are interested. Strangers in line at the grocery store know you’re getting married and before they leave the checkout they know your colors and number of bridesmaids. The whole world is happy for you!
Real Wedding Carolyn and Mark at Clearwater Beach

Submitted by A Loving Unity Officiant a Tampa Bay Wedding Officiant.
Carolyn and Mark left the snowy cold of Buffalo, New York to come down to sunny, warm, Florida to be married! It was a beautiful sunny day with a warm breeze coming off the ocean. Mark was waiting at the beach for Carolyn in order that he would see her for the first time in her beautiful gown and veil. She looked stunning as she walked towards her groom for their very private and intimate wedding on Clearwater Beach. The bride carried a beautiful bouquet of calla lillies, and they exchanged traditional wedding vows as they stood within a heart shaped in the sand.
Why a Rehearsal Dinner?
by Tammy Waterman on 04-15-2012 08:50AM in Wedding Tips
A rehearsal dinner is typically an informal meal after a wedding rehearsal, which takes place the night before the actual wedding. It’s a chance for the wedding party to get to know each other better, and most importantly, it’s a chance for the bride and groom to thank all the people who have helped them out with the wedding planning.
Kelly & Josh {Snell Isle Gazebo Wedding}
by Ruthie Turner on 04-01-2012 09:12AM in Local Weddings
When we were asked to be a part of Kelly & Josh’s wedding in February, we were honored. The wedding took place at the Gazebo in Snell Isle. The Gazebo, one of Snell Isle’s best kept secrets; is nestled right in front of The Renaissance Vinoy Golf Club. It is a beautiful venue to have an intimate ceremony and Kelly & Josh were the most beautiful and personable couple that we’ve had the pleasure to work with. Kelly hired us to coordinate her ceremony in February around Valentine’s Day. With about 45 guests, including family, they said their vows in an intimate gathering of loved ones. The bride’s flowers, was a round hand held bouquet of two dozen red roses with crystal pins in between the blooms to accent. The stems of the bride’s bouquet were wrapped in white satin ribbon with crystal accents.
Liz and Derek at the Vinoy

It's been way too long since we've updated the blog! Have you visited our facebook page? We are updating that much more frequently so please make sure you check us out there! But I wanted to share this fabulous wedding we coordinated in October. Liz and Derek, their families, and all of their almost 200 guests traveled to St. Pete from all over the U.S. for this huge destination wedding. I worked mostly with Liz's mom, Maggie, and she was just a pleasure to plan with from afar. I would describe their style as tropical elegance, and their wonderful team of vendors helped pull off a fantastic wedding. Thanks especially to Debbie with The Brides' Bouquet and Craig from Grant Hemond and Associates.
